Bredahl Mechanical is pleased to announce that Mr. Robert Frei has joined us on our Quest to offer our customers the best possible quality and value for their mechanical systems dollar.
Rob has been a fixture in the steam and hot water application and design area of the piping industry. Rob started in the pipe trades in the mid 1970’s and served his pipefitter apprenticeship working on boilers and burners used for steam and hot water heating.
Rob studied design and engineering for two years at Dunwoody Institute as a full time student. Rob finished his studies in the spring of 1984. Rob was able to concentra
te on his love for steam and hot water systems.
In the summer of 1992 Rob purchased his father's heating company. Rob increased the companies sales by over 300% in the first two years. Owned and operated the Comfort Companies for approximately 12 years. Rob sold his Mechanical company and joined a Manufactures Rep firm where he was instrumental in several hot water heating products and there sales. Rob became the main trainer for the rep firm and lead the team of sales professionals in helping the end user contractors learn the various products.
Rob has done many unique things in the hydronic heating industry. From steam to hot water conversions on old buildings to process heating and curing of several types on industries. Rob has designed and installed systems in several parts of the USA including a system for concrete curing in Albuquerque New Mexico. Rob has served as a consultant for two states, several utilities and originations. Rob continues to study steam and hot water systems and the possibilities for systems improvements and applications.
